• had bacon in my scrambled eggs for brunch


• got some decent work done on both LIS classes


• have been doing some collab writing with cruisedirector including getting back to a fic that had been stalled for many many months

Not from LJ, but from scrubbing my shower with bleach -- the fumes are really getting to me. Yuck. My eyes burn and my nose and throat feel raw. This is, however, the most effective way I've found to eliminate the nasty mildew which is once again trying to take over the walls ( Read more... )

The trip went well, the conference went well, I heard a great concert on Saturday (Dialogos, performing "La Vision de Tondal"), and I got to hang out with C Dumbledore of THF on Friday night to boot (he insisted on buying me dinner for my early birthday -- so sweet)! Right, so I'm having the Dragon Naturally Speaking program transcribe the few minutes I dictated into the recorder in the car yesterday. It's always amusing because of course it doesn't recognize the names until I teach them -- so Snape was "snake" for instance -- and there are other words missing from its vocabulary too.
