Back home
The trip went well, the conference went well, I heard a great concert on Saturday (Dialogos, performing "La Vision de Tondal"), and I got to hang out with C Dumbledore of THF on Friday night to boot (he insisted on buying me dinner for my early birthday -- so sweet)! So it was a good weekend. I just wish I had an extra day to catch up with everything. Yeep. Have already made a quick grocery run, now must prep for tomorrow.
I did take the time to read my hpvalensmut gift which went up this weekend: " Don't Leave Home," which is Triofic (so het and slash, and the author rated it NC17) and has a most interesting and original premise. There's no author summary, but I'll just say that Harry is lost and Ron and Hermione are doing all they can to help him find his way home. If you like Harry/Ron/Hermione, go and read!
And, hm, as I said before I couldn't exactly dictate with a grad student in the car, but I did a wee little bit of writing on BTR one night and will be contributing some drabbles to the daily_deviant anniversary post on March 5, it looks like. Plus I'm pretty much finished with the fic I've been teasing about and expect to post that on my birthday (and hey, by then hpvalensmut will be finished, too, and I can reveal for that). So there will be some fic in the near future. More than drabbles, even. Though now that the conference is over it's back to the article...
PS -- I just won't have time to trawl back through the flist, so if something big happened to you, poke me and point me at what I should see, okay?
