Good things and not-so-good things and ficlets

Good stuff:
  • I finished a blouse in time to wear it on Sunday to my book club (it's a summer blouse, made of crinkle gauze, so probably not work-appropriate and there won't be many if any more chances to wear it this calendar year)
  • I wrote a couple of teenyfics (links at the end of this post)
  • One of the other library staff turns out to LOVE arugula, ( Read more... )

I used to live in Oregon myself (Ashland, and for one year La Grande), and my mom, aunt, and two cousins + their families still do (in Eugene). So, yeah. NOT a routine one wants to get into.

Lol, I wish you were closer to unload your arugula on me! I've been unloading beets and swiss chard :p

I am actually growing beets this year, and I like swiss chard too. :) Isn't that always the way of it?

Enjoy your red meat! And I hope you feel better. I hate those infections that just hang on and on. Sending good and comforting thoughts and lots of tea.

My husband dislikes arugula too, but I rather enjoy it. Pity, as I don't get it often anymore.

Thanks, I did! Cube steak one night, pork chop the other. Yum. I do occasionally eat red meat when the SO is home, but it's more trouble to make two different things, of course.

I now have many drugs and I think they are starting to work... thank goodness.
