I am sorry to hear the IUD didn't work out for you:(

On the other hand, you had an incredibly productive day! Go you. I have a shockingly pair of productive days myself. Don't know how long I will hold up at this pace:)

Yeah, that was a bummer. But it was good that then the tax stuff worked out well. I now feel justified in spending Xmas $$ from my great-aunt on some really spiffy academic doctoral robes (since in the new job I will have to attend Convocation and Commencement each year, in robes).

Some days seem to be super-productive, don't they? I think it makes up for the days of total slobbery.

Sounds like a win overall!

Yeah, some days I do a lot of stuff and some days I sit around and watch tv all day.

Going to sleep soon, I hope:) ♥

Still waiting to get our tax info so we can file our returns. It's a pain in the patootie, isn't it?

Sorry about the IUD disappointment but hopefully the low dose pills will do the trick for the nonce. And *facepalm* for more students quitting/cutting hours. That has to be one headache of this job you will not miss at your new place!

I don't exactly mind doing taxes, although I can't say I enjoy it either. I certainly don't mind paying them, it's the fuss and bother that gets tiresome.

That has to be one headache of this job you will not miss at your new place!

Sadly that is not something I will lose... in fact it is liable to be worse. I will actually be supervising more students in the new job. But instead of doing circ desk I will be doing reference desk, so that is a plus... ;-)

Oh, drat for still having scheduling on your plate. But doing this from the reference desk will definitely be a plus. And, who knows?, maybe the students at your new institution will be a bit more on the ball with regards to knowing their needs and limits.

One may always hope so!

I don't mind the scheduling in and of itself, it's the last-minute and late changes that get my goat.

I would HATE being shower-less for two straight years. Heck, I've hated two straight weeks. Definitely hope you can afford to get that fixed now. Congrats on getting so much done! (ARGH to the continued staff woes.)

I'm sorry your body continues to be a PITA, so to speak. :P FWIW, I've been on low-dose meds for several years now, and it's worked much better than a regular Pill, moodwise, so hopefully the same will be true for you. *hug*

Well, technically I use a showerhead in the other bathroom, but in that one there are Issues with the walls, so I have to sit in the tub (huge old enameled metal one, so cold). Better than a full-on bath, but still.

I was always okay with the regular Pill, actually, but I'm trying to follow the principle of going with lower doses of anything wherever possible. So we'll have to see. {{hugs}}

Ugh re: IUD. :-( Hope the pills work out!

*nods* If they don't I'll just switch to a higher-dose type, which have worked for me before.

I was in AGONY when they tried to put the IUD in; I ended up throwing up, and they couldn't get it through my cervix in three tries. And I have never have fibroids, and they couldn't figure out why from ultrasound. I suspect there is some reason I SHOULD not have one. Sorry you had to go through that, though.

And sorry I am late on everything, am still playing catch-up!

Well, I'm used to stuff being shoved up there at this point o_O but it was NOT comfortable, that was for sure. My doctor apologized several times, but she was like, "I don't want to force it in", and I was all, "No, I don't want you to do that either!"

No worries, whenever you can! *smooches*
