Time for a Happy List

I started off my day in a particularly grumpy mood. Scott was stressing about student loans, Jeff hadn't taken out his trash, the neighbors left messy trash bins all over and there was this unbelievably annoying squeal piercing the silence as I ate breakfast (I think our downstairs neighbor kept setting off her smoke alarm). I kept finding things ( Read more... )

Are we seriously going to have to wait until 2007 for the next one? Dude, I don't know if I can wait that long!

And, as far as summer goes, I'm torn. I want it to go by fast because of summer reading, but I need it to slow down because I have so much wedding stuff to do. It's making me go crazy. Not that that's a new concept, though :)

I feel your pain... Sometimes I think I spend half my life wishing the other half away, and I don't get to actually ENJOY things. Sounds like you've got some fun stuff coming up though!

Looks like a good reading list; I read the Dante Club a few months ago and *really* enjoyed it. Hope you are too!!

Oh, I'm glad to know you liked The Dante Club! I'm not too far into it since I'm reading two other books at the moment. It's one of the books on the high school reading list, so it's one I definitely want to get through quickly. So far I'm enjoying it :)

I wasn't impressed, which really disappointed me (I had had high hopes). I really liked her illustration style (the cover brings to mind the "Take On Me" video!), but the story line was halting and the text was flat. There just didn't seem to be enough story to fill out the book (girl learns family secret, girl becomes odd superhero, girl wins bike race). And don't even get me started on the characters!
