Yesterday tablelands posted a very insightful comment on my post about my kid going out in subzero in shorts and my cat vomiting in the fountain. I found it rather refreshing and inspiring, and I hope she doesn't mind my reposting it here for all to benefit from.

Thank you all for one entertaining evening! I am still laughing!! I can't say I have ever experienced anything quite like these stories...But perhaps one day! LOL!!! I especially love the photocopier story..I plan to post it on my fridge, and read it often when ever things go wrong @ here!...(((HUGS)))

all these stories. Love them. Know that it was not at all funny at the time it happened with everyone, but now it very much is so.

Here is mine.
During my 4th year at college all my groupmates were engaged in the census. We had to be at the "station" from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. so had shifts. The day I had the first shift I got sick. I barely made it there and was vomiting in the bathroom hourly. Then I overheard the guard person ask the lady who supervised us "She's not pregnant, is she?".
