I'm over the bad mood now.  Not that everything is perfect, but I feel I'm on an even keel again, at least compared to that horrible two days.  In fact, just now as I put on a pair of fuzzy flannel pajamas that Mom gave me for Christmas I felt a surge of love for my oh-so-comfy-and-cute pajamas.  So much love, I think a list is in order!

Today (technically yesterday) I played my best tennis game ever.  I did so many things right and really developed a better feel for the game.  Thanks to an insight of Nick's, I have now gone from my years-long habit of avoiding the backhand to standing too close to the backhand to standing just right (most of the time) and powering it over the net ( Read more... )

As I said, the Easter egg party went really well. Even though Lee and I arrived more than two hours late (it's a long story and pretty boring at that, but it involves my waking up feeling like crap and Lee's cursing as we got closed in by heavy traffic), it went very smoothly. Normally I would be totally beating myself up about all the stuff I've been procrastinating on (housework, artwork, project that's due), but too much good stuff is going on to get too mired in that.

I feel like my spirit is really, finally waking up again after the hard winter and the numbness resulting from the last four years. Spring often has this effect on me.
