Normally I would be totally beating myself up about all the stuff I've been procrastinating on (housework, artwork, project that's due), but too much good stuff is going on to get too mired in that.
- Lee went with me to Barnes & Noble (and Chipotle, yay!) so I could buy Night Echoes. I didn't even need to bribe him with coffee.

Last Saturday, Dad wanted some interesting shaped pieces of wood to carve (he usually paints -- oils, watercolors, and acrylics, but lately he's gotten into woodcarving. And every time he enters a contest he earns a blue ribbon, so he's having fun.), so we went for a walk in the garbage dump area of a local museum park. Fortunately, they'd just trimmed all the fruit trees, so we made a good haul of nifty-looking pieces.
