My third year winning NaNoWriMo

At last I've finished!  I won, I won!

This year I won with 50,758 words (according to Word) but definitely the best of the three stories I wrote for NaNoWriMo.  I actually LIKE this one.  It's so much closer to the fantasy story I've been wanting to write all these years but failing to do.  And it's that fantasy story I've wanted to write even ( Read more... )

Thanks, Patrick! It does feel really good to get so much accomplished in a short time. However, my problem is when that only happens a few times a year. Many pros say that consistency and working on a regular basis is key for success, so I worry about myself in that respect. It's something I'm working on. You definitely have that going for you though!

And I would be delighted to show you some of my stories sometime! If you want to start with a short story I've written, my favorite one is already posted on this journal.
