I did not know that this could happen!! I'm always throwing away poinsettia sticks after the holidays!

I was surprised, too! This is the first time I've had a poinsettia that survived way after Christmas! And I thought all the leaves would turn green, but they didn't!

They're kind of tricky to water... they don't like it too wet or too dry. I didn't know about this until yesterday, so I must have done the right thing without realizing it, lol.

Give it a try next year!

I can't believe your poinsettia is still red! It's so pretty.

Happy 4th, hon. I hope you have a way to get out of the heat. *hugs*

I can't believe it either! I'm amazed that all the leaves didn't turn green. It's awesome to have pretty red leaves on it at this time of year.

Same to you, hon. I'll stay in air conditioning as much as I can later in the day. *hugs*

That's great that your poinsettia is still going - mine never last after the holiday.

Mine usually don't last after the holiday, either. I'm thrilled that this one is still going, and that some of leaves are still red!
