I write this from a Terminal at the 1st PERSCOM, DOIM building in Frankfurt, Germany. I write this only to inform those who still read this that, even after just arriving here today, I am being placed with a unit that is being deployed to Iraq. Well, I know you all don't want to know it but, I'm back! Yep! I'm back from Georgia and tearing it up like I used to, I may wear our Flag, the uniform and the combat boots and be called an Infantryman but, I'm still the same old same old! Saying goodbye never gets easier, it only gets harder and more hurtful. We think that it will get better with time but, we are just lying to ourselves. I leave for Basic Three Weeks from today. Tried to get two months but, no deal. Three weeks was all that I could get. I'm still trying to get Gerbil ready but, I don't know.
