At some point, Tako will get snatched off the bar by a certain little colony (standing on a bear to reach, no less) who is looking to give the little abomination Super Awesome Canada Hugs. That done, he'll stand beside Luka and politely clear his throat, planning to inquire for any way he can help her look less sad.

While both Lukas perked up at the sight of him, Tako's the only one who let out the delighted little squeal. But the elder Luka does lift her head from another drink, and manages a small, albeit still humorless smile. "Hey there, sweetie."

"Hello," Canada says politely, giving Tako another hug before reaching up to try to put her back on the bar. "You sort of look like you need a hug, did you know?"

Aww, you sweet little thing. There's a smile tugging at the corner of her lips, just for you, but excuse her while she plays coy for a little while. "That depends. Are you offering?"

"Luka?" She didn't see her in a while and now she somehow undestands why. "You... something wrong?"
The blonde woman just stands still near Luka's table.

Luka doesn't notice her at first, engrossed as she is in staring at her sadly non-alcoholic drink. It takes her a second the register the other's presence, before she sits up with a jolt and offering Samus a strained smile. "Wrong?" Shaking her head, "Not-Not really…" Except everything.

"..." the woman offers a small, forced smile "Well, if you don't want to talk about it I'm not going to insist." reverse psychology... Samus knows it exist and she's trying to use it... but she has almost no social skills "What a pity they don't have decent drinks here, mh?"

It's not that she's not glad to see Samus, but…she can't exactly break her habit of keeping up appearances, not when it's programmed into her to show only the best of herself. And right now…she really isn't feeling at her best. But she does smile, more sincerely this time. "Yeah. Not something I'd come back for." If it isn't the only bar around here.

"Trust me, none of that is gonna get you drunk." He takes a seat next to her without even a by-your-leave, leaning against the bar and studying the set-up behind it. He doesn't have to ask the reason for her misery; having noticed both Miku's disappearance as well as the fact that the I.D. plate on her door is gone, he is capable of putting two and two together.

She only sighs, not even looking up from her drink, which is indeed pathetically lacking alcohol, but, she laughs, humorlessly. What a time for her to meet cute guys like this, but he's as much a friend and an ally as he is some serious eye candy, and she appreciates the company. "Huh. Next time we get sent someplace else, I'm taking something with me that will."

She hadn't thought about it at the time, worried as she was for Miku's safety, but an old town in the Wild West had to have some alcohol, didn't it?

"Well, if ya promise to keep it a secret..." He leans in, lowering his voice to a conspiratorial stage whisper, "I might know of the location of something that can get you drunk."

Gilbert sits up straight once more, looking perhaps a bit too pleased with himself at having such knowledge. It only lasts a moment, however, because something just came to mind. "Robots can get drunk, right?" After all, that is a very important consideration.

For the record? Yes, yes it did. It was quite possibly one of the happiest days of his existence here; finding that there was still beer in the saloon in that strange town.

She stares at him for a moment, before her expression turns to something more wicked. Well, he's sure one to cheer her up. She leans on the counter, rather…close to him. Hell yes she can get drunk-you should see her fellow Vocaloid MEIKO. "Hey, I can hold my liquor just fine." And cocking one eyebrow at him, "up to the challenge?"

Alas, a missed opportunity for drunken makeouts.

[Romano has been considering approaching her for a while, but he is honest enough with himself to admit that he is not particularely good at comforting people, and he really does not want to make it worse for her. But when he hears someone in the bar and sees that it is her, he decides that it is time for him to man up and at least say hello.

In the end he only walks over towards her awkwardly and takes a seat next to the female.]

[ It's not like she's drunk anyway, though she isn't the type to be violent even then. She catches him at the corner of her eye and offers a small smile, but not much else. Hard to be flirtatious right now when there are too many unpleasant things happening around her. ]

[He returns the smile and then pulls his seat a bit closer, putting an arm around her slowly so she can pull away in time in case she doesn't want it.]

[ She leans into that, gratefully. She wouldn't consider it romantic, considering that she's been with a lot of…relationships in her time. But it was sweet of him and she really appreciates that. ]
