WHO: Everyone! WHAT: A nice and quiet day. WHERE: In the farmhouse WHEN: Second night of the "Go West!" event. WARNING(S): TBA - please warn in the subject line if it gets higher than PG-13
But before the nightmares begin, there's dinner to be had. The sun's still setting, taking too long out here in the American south, so the lighting in the room is a little off. Just a little darker than it should be. As things are winding down, however, and you might already be getting ready to clear your dishes (from a rather depressingly patchwork meal), you hear the loud clinking of a fork on a glass, from near the head of the table

Andrea is still very very confused as to what she's doing here, or indeed, where 'here' even is. But still, she's absolutely exhausted, and a bed IS a bed, isn't it? So she clambers into the nearest available one. But there are creaks and groans everywhere, and fears begin to play in Rea's mind. Nervously, she bites her fingernail, wishing to goodness that her friends werer here too.
Something growls under her bed, like a huge dog or something ...darker. The sound will be gone the moment that she notices it, but be back just when she starts to relax again.
[As soon as this happens for the 2nd time, Andrea sits bolt upright and breathes heavily. She's wondering what on earth is making the noise, and trying hard not to panic. Shakily, she calls out a 'Hello? Is somebody there?'
[Romano is running down he stairs, screaming. He might also have wet his nightshirt... and there is a huge, scary shadow right behind him. The sound of metal against metal, clacking blades and scissors scraping over walls, is right behind him.]
"Oh my gosh!" That's... scary! Who ever though to put a... thing like that here? She's going to run away as fast as possible and-wait! She's supposed to be the brave one now, right? It's just a special training and Chozo aren't certainly trying to kill her, right? "Run, I'll slow it down!" she screams, without moving from her place. See, grandpa
He runs past her and then skids to a stop, turning around to grab her, some part of her, anything he can reach and drag her down the hallway. "Don't be an idiot, dammit, we need to find a stupid weapon first and maybe someone strong and big enough to hide behind!" And then it all derails a bit into curses, but he keeps dragging her behind him - he cannot just let a human kid try to fight the monster.
