Andrea is still very very confused as to what she's doing here, or indeed, where 'here' even is. But still, she's absolutely exhausted, and a bed IS a bed, isn't it? So she clambers into the nearest available one. But there are creaks and groans everywhere, and fears begin to play in Rea's mind. Nervously, she bites her fingernail, wishing to goodness that her friends werer here too.
Something growls under her bed, like a huge dog or something ...darker. The sound will be gone the moment that she notices it, but be back just when she starts to relax again.
[As soon as this happens for the 2nd time, Andrea sits bolt upright and breathes heavily. She's wondering what on earth is making the noise, and trying hard not to panic. Shakily, she calls out a 'Hello? Is somebody there?'
If she peers over the side of the bed, she will see a large, black arm, covered with fur and sporting big, heavy claws tilted upwards to be ready to grab for her as soon as she gets too close to them.
Never mind peering, Andrea is getting out of there. She'll say it's to look for the source of the creaks but deep down, it's because she's absolutely freaked out by this whole thing. So she clambers out of the bed, not really looking - who would expect an arm with claws to be there? - and steps straight onto it. She screams. A lot.
She screams as she feels the claws touching her leg, and clings desperately to the bedposts in a desperate attempt not to be pulled under. "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllp!!!" She screams, desperate for someone to save her.
[She screams desperately. Her fingers are losing grip on the bed as the monster pulls harder. Tears stream down her face, sending mascara running in rivlets down her cheeks. She glances down, sees the eye and screams harder, wriggling and kkicking out as best she can. "Please! Please, stop! Stop, let go, please!"
He ran as fast as he could when he heard the screams, so cue the door being kicked open and a black-robed figure with a sword he really shouldn't be able to lift given his size relative to the weapon charging at the monster. He brings the blade down along the creature's back, yelling out a fierce battle cry as he does so.
Never mind that, you know, he hasn't hit puberty yet, so his voice is probably as high pitched as that of the girl he's defending.
[Andrea's screams increase as she sees the boy, and she doesn't stop struggling as he brings the sword down on the beast. Still, in the backof her mind, she registers the sword and the high pitched scream. She fights a giggle - a somewhat hysterical giggle, but a giggle nontheless.
The monster roars and recoils in pain, dark blood soiling sword and human. Large claws come up to try and catch the sword to hold on to it and rip the weapon out of his wielder's grip.
This shouldn't be so bad, she thinks. Last night wasn't so bad. There were people around, and they made her feel safe. This shouldn't be any different.
She makes her way to her bed, humming a mellow tune to herself.
But tonight is different, Samus can almost feel it: she's really nervous even if nothing's really happening. She's sneaking in the bedroom as well and this evening she almost regret she wasn't able to find any decent weapon in that place.
Dear Luka, dear Aran, you should not get into your bed without checking if there is something under them... and then take a huge leap. Otherwise you might lose a leg, or worse... The monster is waiting, you can hear it breathe if you listen carefully.
Better run or be a good child.
