[Open post / Mingler] The voice from above

Much has happened at the Mansion - most of it, as Falkor reckons it, is saddening. And the luckdragon, let us be fair, does not like sadness, nor does it believe it should be allowed to go on.

In his view, this may be another attack from the Nothing, even if he is the only self-aware Fantastican about.

And keeping the Nothing at bay requires hope, ( Read more... )

11-12 looks up toward the sky, enjoying the sound of the song.

The song draws Viv outside, a grey wool coat bundled about herself, as she comes up beside the young man, looking up in awe. She's never heard or seen anything like this before, thus she's aghast at the sight and song of the luckdragon.

((OOC: open to most anyone, Falkor included!))

She looks back at him, smiling. "Hello there," she says. Then looking to the sky, she adds, "It's... are ...singing dragons normal for this place? It's beautiful, but...strange."

Hisoka is on his way back to the house from the woods. He hears that astonishing music, and he looks up, seeing the dragon dancing across the sun. He shades his eyes and waves with the other arm.

[Open to anyone, but would love to say hello to Falkor (can be short if you like).]

From where he is, Falkor can see folk waving, if a bit indistinctly - he'll finish his celebration of life, and eventually... there's a luckdragon, hovering above Hisoka.

"Why why, hello there...."

Hisoka smiles up at him. A hovering luckdragon is an awesome thing to see, with the white clouds and the blue winter sky behind him. "How are you, Falkor? I left the attic doors unlocked for you this winter, in case you still needed a place to get out of the snow."

Falkor's laughter is light and magnanimous, fatherly, even. "I know, and I am grateful for that, little man," he teases. "How've you been faring?"

Harumi stares up at the sky, overhearing Falkor's song. It's a lovely song, puts her at ease. She may blink though.

“Is that a... dragon?”

A Falkor would be nice, but anyone is free to talk to Harumi.

Riku is on the lawn, building a snow fort, but he'll come up to join her, gazing up at the dragon in the sky.

"Yeah! It sure looks like one!" he says, grinning. "Isn't it great? and it's the Year of the Dragon, too!"

She looks at him and then The Dragon, still flying and singing.

“Yes, but is this normal?”

Poor lady is still getting used to the weirdness of this place.

"Probably: funny things happen here all the time," he says. "Sometimes people turn into animals for a little while, or the moon turns red, or someone honking a funny horn in the middle of the night.

"There's elves here, so it makes sense there'd be dragons."

Ilse sees (and hears) Falkor from inside the Mansion, actually, and she runs outside, ecstatic.

"Hello!" she cries out, grinning.

ooc: OTA, but she'd love to talk to Falkor. :D

Falkor loves children, and he loves Ilse! So it's bound to happen that he'll be along, pausing in front of her like a giant and elongated cloud.

"Why why, hallo, Ilse!"

She grins and runs over to him.

"How are you doing?" she asks, rather jubilant.

"Quite alright, Ilse," Falkor replies happily. "Though I do long for summer again."

Ed has seen a lot, but this is new.

"Is that...That's a dragon!" Suddenly he's like a kid again. He's been buried in research for awhile and needs the break. He runs from the library and goes outside.

[Open to anyone.]

By the time Ed has run outside, Falkor is taking a break. He's dried off the lawn (he hates snow) and he's more or less lounging there.

He can totally be disturbed!

Since we've never tagged together, I thought I'd send him along, hope that works :)

Ed runs out and sees the creature on the lawn. He approaches cautiously, though not fearfully.

"Hey there, big fella," Ed doesn't know the correct way of addressing dragons and prefers to be frank with everyone.

"send him along"? Everything works for me ^_^ FYI I have never seen The Neverending Story, so this is as new to me as it is for Ed.

This dragon has the temper of a century-old tortoise, so we're all good!

"Why, hallo there, little fella," he replies, voice ringing like so many large bronze bells. "It's a fine day, now, is it not?"

Falkor likes children, very much so - and not for breakfast.

No worries :D And I'm so sorry for being so bedamned late >.< If you ever have 3 hours to kill, watch the first movie, it's ADORABLE. ^^
