Murata is humming to himself when he hears a familiar voice. He hurries toward it and peeks in to see a familiar person...

He gives Wolfram a wave and a smile. "It's been a while, Lord von Bielefeld!"

Anyone else would be relieved and delighted to see a familiar face, and a fairly close friend at that. But if Wolfram is either of these things, he doesn't show it very clearly, if at all. In fact, he glares a bit, as he tries to get the water out of his scabbard. "A while? I saw Your Excellency just a few moments ago. You were in the Tomb of the Great One as Yuuri was sealing the Forbidden Boxes," he snips, then compresses his lips, looking away. He really doesn't want to think about what was happening to him and tries hiding his embarrassment behind an irritated disdain.

Murata blinks. Time anomolies... Hmm. He thinks better of bringing that up right now.

"Oh. Yes... well, how did you end up here? Is Shibuya with you?"

"You were there when the Great One used me to disrupt the ritual," he says, with an irritated patience. "He pulled the key to the third box from my heart, then I lost consciousness. What I wish to know is, how did you get here before me? Have the boxes been sealed already?"

Some time later, Gellert can be seen out in the garden. He's testing the Elder Wand out - seeing how much more powerful it is than his old wand.

He points it at one of the trees and, with a word, sets it on fire. He grins to himself then a moment later, says another spell that drenches the tree with water, putting the fire out.

By this time, Wolfram is tolerably settled into the Mansion and is taking in the lay of its lands. But spying the young man using magic, he pauses, impressed. Not that he'd show it much.

"You've made your pact with more than one element, I see," he observes.

"Pact?" Gellert queries, curious, as he flicks his wand toward the tree again, causing it to turn green with fresh summer leaves - no matter that it was out of season.

He turns toward the new arrival, looking him over before grinning. "Hello there. Who are you?"

He stands a little straighter as he speaks. "I am Prince Wolfram von Bielefeld, Prince of the Demon Tribe and fiance to King Yuuri Shibuya."

Should Prinz Wolfram wander in the Mansion, he might come across a young lady curled up in the library with a book. She's reading, against her best wisdom, Carmina, which is, in all earnest, giving her the shivers.

But she has her reasons for doing this.

Of course she does.

Wolfram might not be the most scholarly type, but he wants to know the lay of the Mansion and so he is setting forth to examine every room that will admit him, including the library.

Which is when he spies the young lady, approaching her and eying the book. "Are you the resident scholar of this place?" he asks.

Scheherazade looks up at the young man, and blinks. "... I beg your pardon?" She didn't really pay attention to the whole question - she was very focused on her reading.

"Didn't you hear me the first time?" he snips. "I asked you if you are the resident scholar here."

There is a part of him that figures he may have to delve into some of the writings in the library here to make sense of the Mansion. He's likely not making a good first impression, though.

Brat prince, meet the Mansion's resident brat king.

Melou is out in the woods somewhere, just standing and brooding. The colder weather is perfect to be emo to.

Bundled up in a fur-lined greatcoat over his usual uniform, Wolfram has set out to explore more of the Mansion's grounds. Spying Melou, he looks him up and down. "You should be on your way if you are keeping watch over these lands: a guard is only as good as he is dutiful."

Yes, he's mistaken Melou for a guard...

Ahahaha. The typist is amused. Melou isn't. Why do people keep mistaking him for a guard? He doesn't look like a guard. He looks like a king.

"I am not a guard."

"You are walking the forest, that must make you a guard of this place, does it not?" he insists. "Don't contradict me."

Pascal usually haunts the library, but this time, he can be found in the kitchen, making tea.

He's looking as mussed and distracted as usual.

By now, Wolfram is feeling hungry and is hoping there's a cook at work in the kitchen, as he enters it. Spotting the man preparing tea, he approaches. "Is there a cook on staff here, or are you his assistant?" he asks.

At least he asked somewhat nicely.

Pascal blinks. ".... I beg your pardon?"

Pascal can't cook to save his life. He would live on bread, cheese and apples, if it weren't for the plothole.

"I have not eaten since I arrived here, and I am in need of a meal," he says, with a snippy matter of fact-ness. "If dinner is not served soon, I will still need to eat."
