At some point, if she wanders toward the chapel on the edge of the woods, she may spot a young man dressed in green seated on the steps, reading out loud from a rather rumpled sheet of parchment: "...two souls whom God and what powers bless and sustain this world brought here and brought together in through most sublime of gifts that is called love..." He pauses and taking up a quill, he jots something else.

He looks up and a smile crosses his handsome young face. "May the Lord bless you and be with you, dear sister," he says, pleased to see her.

... The Lord? What lord? "--- I -- I don't know where I am," she says, a bit taken aback by the gentleness.

She's not trusting Parsifal just yet. He's too handsome, and handsome men aren't kind to Brienne the Beauty. It's just one of the rules of the universe.

"Nor do I: I do not think that this world has a name, though the house is referred to as the Mansion, a simple name for a strange yet gentle place," he says, his smile steady and open. "I am Sir Parsifal, vassal to King Arthur of Britain, knight of the Holy Grail and guardian of the Sacred Lance, as well as chaplain of this chapel."

... that's a lot of titles. "-- I do not know of your King," she finally says tiredly. "I am Brienne of Tarth, from Westeros, and I am sent on King Tommen's business."

Bearer of Oathkeeper - but even to a stranger, even one as friendly as this, she isn't sure she should mention the contentious sword.

There's a very beautiful woman seated on the porch, in the sunshine. She's absorbed in the piece of needlework on her lap, and humming quietly to herself.

Brienne will stare a bit. Beautiful women intimidate her extremely - but then again, with her own looks...

It's not impossible that Enide might take her for a knight, though - after all, she's boyish and armor-clad.

"-- my lady?"

Enide looks up from her work and smiles in greeting. A knight is exactly what she thinks Brienne is. A woman wearing armour would just be very, very strange.

"Good day, sir," she says automatically, then looks at Brienne a little closer. "I -- pardon, what is your name?"

"Brienne," she replies, which (because that's how the typist says it in her head) sounds like Bree-en. Make of that what you will, Enide.

She bows, a bit clunkyly. "-- I am in search of my sister, a maid of thirteen and ten, beautiful, with red hair."

Her quest: not abandoned so fast, it seems.

Someone ordered a monster angel Stark?

Stark is bored and a bored Stark is an idle Stark and we all know what they say about idle hands... So, here is a rather ugly man with a lot of scars currently building a house of cards in the main room. It's about four feet tall so far.

He's got a lot of time to kill...

And here's a rather ugly woman who is, well, not as tall as him, but almost.

And staring. Because seriously. What. Is. This. And part of her is terrified that this is the fabled Mountain, but of course, the mountain wouldn't be doing such things, of course not.

"Ser?"

ZOMG ILU THANKIES &hearts

Stark glances up at the woman when she enters and then back down to his cards. He doesn't recognize her, and her appearance doesn't even give him pause. He just reaches to pop open another box of cards.

"If you came to knock it down, I might have to have some strong words with you."

"I don't see why i would do such a thing," she replies a bit hesitantly. "I'm not a brute."

And because he should get out more too... misborncat September 16 2010, 06:11:36 UTC
Also in the woods, checking snares and falls is a tall and friendly cat-man. Asato hasn't been terribly busy as of late, but the hunting is still good and he's got a pair of hares slung over his shoulder.

He's more than willing to share his game with others, though he does want to bring some home to his housemates at least.

He's absolutely welcome ^^ homely_sonja September 16 2010, 06:25:47 UTC
Brienne hasn't noticed the cat part of the man yet - she's just observing him at a distance, sitting on a rock and being very still.

She has no chance of being unseen - but if she doesn't move, she can be unheard.

She's still worried that someone might compromise the Quest by killing her, or something.

She might be quiet, but Asato has other strong senses in his arsenal. Still, since he's not being approached, he won't bother her and will just crouch to reset a snare that was tripped but empty. One ear is cocked in her direction.

She's staring. And after the dragon (wtf) this. ...this whatever this ... creature is.

Could this be one of the fabled forest-dwellers? She holds her breath, just in case.

A sort of unusual beauty (funny hollowed out almost always blank hazel eyes, messy hair, a facial structure kind of like a freshly dead corpse, however is strangely pretty once you look closely) is in the gardens, taking in her usual walk, when she notices Brienne and all her wonderfully uncommon splendor.

Oooh! She's a pretty one!

Ugliness does not matter to Aramat. It really doesn't.

Were Aramat to call here pretty, Brienne would probably take it as a cruel jab. When she sees the other woman, she inclines her head politely.

Brienne is starting to remind me of myself... *depressed* scalpedsociety September 16 2010, 22:18:11 UTC
Of course Aramat doesn't know that. To her, all weirdness and ugliness is pretty. Her definition of beauty is wide like that. So Brienne is adorable to her.

"Hello. I haven't seen you before..."

She's a very insecure muffin, alas. homely_sonja September 17 2010, 03:50:32 UTC
A hesitation. "I am new come," she says tiredly. "Though I pray to find my way again soon."
