Oh. My. God. That's all Belize has been thinking all morning - Belize has found something marvelous.

Wigs. Feathers. Purses. Pumps in HIS SIZE. Sparkling and glittering things. Make up. And he's just overjoyed, because he'd been missing the drag act, lately.

Sim is wandering around, still hoping to find pieces of computer equipment that he can use, when he comes across Belize. He stays back and watches for a few moments, amused by the glitter and the sparkles and the feathers and the enthusiasm. If Belize doesn't notice him it won't be long before he laughs and calls over, "Having fun?"

Belize tips the large wide-brimmed hat, looking mysteriously at Simeon, a moment. "Hmmm... maybe, who's asking, handsome?"

Yes, he's doing Hepburn again. With the drag act, though... it's probably more convincing than usual.

He laughs and wanders over. Whether he gets the Hepburn reference is ...well, he probably doesn't. It's unlikely he'd have ever seen any of her movies. "Just me. Nice hat."

"Thanks!" Belize slips his arms around Simeon's waist comfortably. "Want one?"

Yeah, he's feeling cuddly today.

It's been some weeks since Muraki has crossed paths with Belize, now that he's considerably on the mend, but he's delighted to spot the little fellow, and especially to see him in such a gleeful state. It even brings one of his rare smiles of genuine amusement, free for once of the usual cynical quirk.

"Found a treasure trove of finery?" he says, pausing in the hallway, a bowl of tea in hand as he watches Belize. "I have to confess that I'm not usually into drag, but you utterly sparkle."

Belize spins around in a boa, and looks genuinely happy and amused. "Thank you handsome," he waves the feathers at Muraki. "And you look much better yourself. How's the bandages going?"

Can assume Belize has been checking in on and off - he wouldn't neglect a patient...

"I'll be, hm, going for the bandage fetish look at least around my shoulders for a week or two more, from the way the burns are finally healing," he says, with a brief mischievous note. "I removed the stitches from the stab wound last week: of course there's a scar, but at least it's fairly inconspicuous, and if anyone asks, it gives me a story to tell, which might make for some odd pillow talk, but I can always tint the facts a little."

I figured he'd be looking in on His Paleness.

"Well, as long as you're not hurting anymore..." Belize picks up another boa, and throws it at His Paleness. "Feathers?"

It's one of the rare times that Nellas haunts the Mansion's hallways, a little less at ease that she would be outside, but perhaps the weather is unpleasant, or she simply doesn't feel like spending time in the forest.

At any rate, she watches, staring a little - though there is no malice or prejudice there, just genuine confusion at the glitter and flitter and some curiosity at the idea behind it. It looks like fun, though, even if Nellas in her plain forest clothes can't really compare.

"I have a feather too, look," she says eventually, mustering some courage, and holds up the leather band with Iggy's ragged feather, and there is a faint almost-smile on her lips.

Belize gives her a wide grin, he's entirely open (and yay, Nellas is his first elf!) and not scared or bothered in the least.

"You do!" he replies, and waves a pink boa from the box, laughing, "would you like more? Darling, you really look like you could use a make-over..."

He's just fast-talking and energetic, but nothing aggressive at all.

Haha, I never gave Belize the chance to queer up anyone XD

"But Iggy's molt is almost over," she explains, all frowns and concern. "What is a make-over?"

The Mansion has probably translated that word, but that isn't so much help when the concept is pretty much alien for her. "And why?"

But it's curiosity and confusion again, and she wants to learn. She might not say no.

Molt-over, make-over -- what the. But Belize wanders over, looks at Nellas interestedly. "A change in look," he explains. "You're pretty, but you look like something the cat dragged in, sweetheart. You need something a little bit less drag. With spunk." His tone is kind of motherly, actually. "Come here?"

And he won't let her say no - he just takes her hand and tugs her over to the bounty he found, typist willing.

Belize tips his new hat - this one is a melon hat - at the greeting. "Enjoying the show?"

"You know what they say about gratitude - I'm not questioning the timing." He grins. "You into the scene?"

And Belize, by 1980's New York standards, is probably not doing bad either - and he'll laugh at the bemused look, and toss a very glittery shirt at the new spectator.

"What, you've never seen a queen in action, pretty face?"

Belize laughs, very amused. "Ah, yeah. Probably. Queen isn't actually used for royalty, where I come from - in fact, we don't have any. A queen would be someone who enjoys being fabulous. Like this."
