Buffy: Buffy/Spike Alias: Sark/Sydney, Sark/Jack Bristow (all two stories) SGA: Sheppard/McKay (before fandom ruined McKay.. so like season two) Harry Potter: Harry/Snape is my OTP (ahah) but I will also read Snape/Dumbledore, Snape Aberforth and Snape/Filch if written by the right person. Sherlock (all of them, but always canon): Holmes/Watson, Irene/many Thor (not so much Avengers): Thor/Loki
Perhaps out of all of these I am least in Buffy and Sherlock for the sex. I can and have read gen for these. Except for when I totally was. Darn. :P Having said that I will read any glorious character study if it is there, or if the plot is there. Probably I should instead say that there are very few things do I read for just sex because it takes a good author to pull of the emotional intensity to make it more than body parts slapping together semi accurately. draw stick figures ppl if you are not sure, or try it out on a partner.Clearly in terms of pairings I like conflicting partners who are very different from

Kinks et alMy bulletproof kink is well written, in character, innovative, plot driven stories (or reflective) that give me new insight into the world or characters. So basically I am hard to please. In terms of sex it would appear that incest, voyeurism, angst ridden secretive masturbation, orgasm denial, pegging (female to male), domming (I don't care for the submissive side mostly), sexpollen/equivalentof .... form a core. If it is well written though I can be sold on almost anything. If you manage to write a dystopia where everything goes up in flames? I'll be there. How could I possibly not fall for Thor with Ragnarok? Good meta is also a kink

HP and The Walking Dead are the only two fandoms I'm interested in.
Which ones do inspire you to write or create art?
Only HP. While I love WD I've found the fandom a little homophobic with a lot of ship wank. I'm not interested in getting involved in that so I've not delurked yet.
Which ones do you like for the sex? And which one for the romance? Can you observe developments and patterns?
I don't like either of my fandoms for any one thing, I'm all about the characters I like (Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Carol for TWD/Severus, Sirius for HP) in those fandoms. Sex and shipping and all that come much later for me.
Has writing fanfic and creating fanart changed you in one or more ways? Did you become a better writer, a better artist? I've become a better artist over the years, but I don't know if fandom has changed me for the better or worse as a person. By that I mean, I've gotten a lot more fearful about sharing myself and my art and my opinions online. I started as a very open
