mmm...blasphemy

Aug 05, 2008 09:33

I woke up this morning to two adorable text messages from my coworker, who is currently watching Dexter season one for the very first time. I am a little jealous that she's getting the virgin experience, to be honest. I will never have that again! Though I do get new episodes very soon, so that's all right. Anyway, in her texts she mocked ( Read more... )

That would be the best and most horrifying invention ever. Think of the ramifications!

If that were possible, my whole "I don't write RPS" thing would be out the window INSTANTLY. My imagination = RPS central these days.

Oh my god. Oh my god you must write that or I'll cry no lie. You just kind of stumbled on to one of my well-hidden buttons and mashed it into the ground. O.O

I'd mainline your brian if I could. akldshsfj.

I totally have a blasphemy kink. I blame it on growing up with a minister for a father. Also I might have plotted the entire story on my lunch break. I think if I write it, I'll post it locked to minimize exposure, and then change names and see about e-publishing. Worth a shot, anyway.

Also? The best part of your comment is that you typo'ed 'brain' the same way I do Every. Single. Time. I have reached the point where I want to do an AutoCorrect for 'brian' in my Word dictionary and just never use that name for a character again.

I think my blasphemy kink comes from being forced to go to church as a kid. Did Not Want. I'm surprised I didn't burst into flames the moment I stepped over the threshold. Have I mentioned lately that you're my hero? Ooh! That sounds ace! I really, really hope you go for it. There's a real dearth of good gay e-books out there.

Oh jeez. *facedesksnicker* Well, I'm sure Brian would enjoy a good licking too. XD

Oh, Mike. Why so cute? (Also, you seem to have developed some sort of Mike Rowe obsession. Not that I'm complaining.)

Yeah, THANKS FOR THAT. At least his fans are *slightly* more organized than Deadliest Catch fans. I found some good hi-res and shirtless and pantsless (censored) of Mike, but the Catch boys are all low-res, small pictures. What's up with that, Discovery Channel?

I know! I promised myself no more fic, but when they burst forth fully formed like that it is near impossible to resist.

I wish I could have the virgin experience with Dexter, period! I only watched the show after having read all three books last summer, so I already knew what the ending of s1 was, and was just looking out for how much they'd change things.

That said, they did a kickass job of surprising even the book-fans with how it all went down in the end. I mean, WOW.

True, you have it worse than me because you never got the virgin television experience. Though I have to say that reading the first book after watching season one left me pretty confused. I caught on eventually to the changes, but if I'd read it without context I think it would have been easier to glean what was going on before I got to book two. I'm just grateful I could get my mitts on book two the very same day.

But on the upside, if I'd seen the TV show before reading the book, I don't think I'd've liked the book NEARLY as much!

Icon love!

Also, I think I said this when we met, but that's definitely true. Seeing the show first did make the book less enjoyable. Though having the benefit of hearing Michael C. Hall's voice in my head as I read it wasn't so bad.
