I woke up this morning to two adorable text messages from my coworker, who is currently watching Dexter season one for the very first time. I am a little jealous that she's getting the virgin experience, to be honest. I will never have that again! Though I do get new episodes very soon, so that's all right. Anyway, in her texts she mocked Jennifer Carpenter's strong jaw, so I am going to have to give her the smackdown when she gets to work. No one mocks my imaginary girlfriend.
While I was lying in bed not sleeping last night, an entire Brotherhood II AU came to me. Fully formed, plotty, with a beginning, a climax, and an ending. In it, Marcus is a seminary student at a Catholic university, and Harlan's working on his MBA. They meet by chance and Harlan corrupts poor, innocent Marcus so thoroughly that he has a complete crisis of faith. Blasphemy! Angst! Cute boys with chemistry kissing each other! It would be awesome, if I had time to write it. Alas.
If only I could just plug you guys into the pertinent parts of my imagination! It would make my fannish experience so much more convenient.
