CAROLINE!!!!!! i just watched last night's ep (i can't quit it. i just can't.) and there were SIGNIFICANT WILL/FINN moments. it remains a disgraceful thing the way they have assassinated the characters of both these men, but i thought you'd like to know some of the noteworthy points

That's okay. I just finished posting both here and a tumblr that I am about to become the biggest Winn stan on the internet, and people are just going to have to deal with it. I was shunned by the Winn community for not writing creepy student/teacher Winn, and I was shunned by the rest of the fandom for writing them at all. Now they are going to be the most viable slash pairing on the show, and what do you know, here I was all along.

I TOLD YOU SO, INTERNET. I TOLD YOU SO.

(Yeah, I'm totally going to start watching again. You're the third person today to tell me that there was significant Winn interaction last night, and there's a promise of much more, if the writers don't get high and careen in a different direction again. What choice do I have?)

haha i just saw your post here. great/demented minds think alike. i don't know, as much as canon Winn seems viable, i think most people who remain in this fandom are really, really, young and therefore almost all Klaine fans, or fans of the new cast pairings. there are probably still a few people around like those likely to be on your FL, but the showrunners have totally poisoned the audience to both Finn and Will. it's sad. there's no place for Finn on the Rachel show

It is tragic that I am willing to go crawling back to the show just for the tiny hints we will get of them in canon. I know they will never, ever go there on the show, but just seeing them interact as equals working together is more than I ever thought I'd get (though I did suggest how awesome that would be before I stopped watching last season.)

I think Will and Finn are best when they're in scenes together, so maybe that will temper people's rage some. I will be stanning for them, at any rate, and maybe it'll make other people a little more interested in the pairing, even if no one else ever writes any fic. (God, someone write me some fic I can read already. I'm tired of writing it all.)

So basically, yes, they can be losers in love together in Lima and I will be happy to pretend they are married even though it won't ever happen on my TV. Cory remains delightful, so it won't be *such* a hardship to watch.

I stopped watching Glee after season 2... I think, because I've heard that it became terrible with all the engagements, but I never thought of abandoning Winn and I never will. Your fics are too awesome and I love how you took some ridiculous piece of canon as it seems and made it so much better!

It really was terrible, and it's not worth getting back into just for the hints of Winn that will no doubt be utterly destroyed before long. But I still love them, so it's really nice that there are other people out there still carrying the torch! Thanks :)
