I love it when they play pieces like 'Hoedown" from Copland's Rodeo on NPR Classical in the morning.

Seems particularly appropriate while driving into the city and watching all those folks scuttle in to work.

I've taken to listening to the classical station on my way to work in the mornings.  I find it a very peaceful way to deal with traffic.

Mind you, I've a pretty easy commute, about 25 minutes to work door to door, 15 minutes from.  No freeways, only about 10 blocks of actual traffic, as one would call it.  I could take the freeway, but it would take ( Read more... )
