Last night C and I went to the MN Orchestra to hear the Blind Boys of Alabama. What an excellent concert! (noted: the decidedly different crowd from the Ben Folds concert). A few weeks ago bupwethern sent an excited email announcing that Joseph Arthur was coming to town, and playing the BLB, of all places! Slept in and spent the afternoon cutting Spanish Tragedy and 12th Night.

Saw This Is It for Kathy's birthday.  For what it was (a tribute and a final farewell) it was really awesome. Simple, and a last chance to see a master at work.

Happy Hour at Tiger Sushi.  Lots of Kathy's friends, who are lots of my friends.  Lovely.

I was planning on spending my morning working on compiling entries, but lilnarnia called and asked if I was interested in hanging out until my class this afternoon.  Well, of COURSE!

Luckily, she's my  editor, so we are going to do some work.  She's also bringing her violin.  Then there may or may not be some jamming.
