So, um, if it would help at all, my household might be very interested in borrowing a cat for at least the short term. Both for snuggling purposes and because I totally saw a mouse in the basement.

I don't know if the transition would be a good idea, but if things don't work out and I need to give her back, would you be interested in taking her permanently? She seems drawn to you...

ooh. I would love to. Very allergic girlfriend needs to think it over and figure out what she'd have to do for meds. (I'm cautiously optimistic because having Ella on my lap didn't trigger *my* allergies, but M is more allergic than I am.) Keep us posted, ok?
