The more I see of him, the more that I like this guy. He knows his stuff and talks intelligently about it too. As for his spilling of the beans regarding his mother's crush on JB... LOL ( Read more... )

So not fair that the bastards from television won't let us watch even the trailer in Russia :/

Dammit! I thought that since the source was not the BBC it might be okay for you. :-/ But you can watch the trailer on You Tube I hope:

Looks worth a try but I shall have to record it as I am sure MPH will harrumph all the way through it as he isn't exactly a modernist!;)

I think I've persuaded Mr T that it will be worth a look, but I'm recording it too just in case! There are going to be so many fun parallels with ACD canon to pick up on, that surely it can be nothing but extremely entertaining. For example, Sherlock apparently uses nicotine patches these days. Not sure if tonight's episode will be a 'three patch problem' or not, but it's got to be healthier than the 'three pipe problems' of old. LOL!

Bah! Well hopefully there will be more footage available on YouTube after tonight's showing of episode 1. There's a different interview on You Tube, although it's not so long, nor quite so interesting:

And the trailer of course:

If you want to know more, watch this LJ community: http://community.livejournal.com/sherlockbbc/ because they will post whatever becomes available. And fear not, you shall have a nice shiny 'Sherlock' DVD in the autumn, i promise. :-)

Are they going to be only three (3) episodes for the first season? Or is the first episode divided into three parts?

This series involves three episodes, each of which is a solid 90 minutes in duration. Each episode is almost a mini-film. Just the thing for a Sunday evening. :-)

Ooh, like 'Wallander', okay. Thanks, I was confused with a description I read online.
