What say ye?

This bit of bilge is courtesy of hilary_booth, a comely-looking wench whom I've not actually had the pleasure of meeting just yet. Ye may judge for yourselves how accurate this here analysis of my 'true nature' be, though I'll admit to this much: I do know how to get a party started.

*flashes his foe a most genuine grin*

Aye, Barbossa. Ye do indeed get the party going, I'll grant ye that.

Why thank ye, Jack. *smirks* High praise indeed, considering the source.

Mmm. From what I've read of you, Captain, this sums you up rather nicely, particularly the bit about being unforgiving. I wouldn't know, however, about your generosity, or your actual ability to start the party, which I assume would involve a lively dance of some sort, perhaps a jig, and that sounds, quite frankly, a bit off.

*holds out hand* Not to be so bold, but I'm Audrey, and for all intents and purposes, I'm just dropping by.

The captain lifts her hand, pressing his lips to her knuckles in as gentlemanly a kiss as such a man can possibly affect.

'Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

While I'm sure those who be naturally inclined to foppishness--here Barbossa cuts his eyes in Jack's general direction--do frequently resort to jigs and the like, I've not once had to make an ass of myself for the party's sake. And though my methods of incitement may range from subtle to strident, they never fail to impress.

That said, I am indubitably at your service, Miss Audrey. Do feel free to drop by, as often as ye like.

She grins at the kiss, blushing only a little.

Ooooh! A pirate at my disposal. And a black-hearted pirate, no less. I may have use for you, sir, but I can't think of anything just yet. It really is nice, though, to know the offer's on the table.
