Complaint about Sherlock --

If you watch Sherlock on PBS and wonder why it's being cut from the BBC version when PBS is supposed to NOT cut episodes of shows...

Well, I e-mailed them about editing it.

Here's what they said.

Yah - I was not happy about the 8 minute edits. At least I have my d/ls of S2 and S1 on Netflix until I can order the BluRays after my trip next week.

No, they have S1 - I got S2 elsewhere. :)

The S2 dvds come out next week, so surely Netflix will have them before too long.

Someone commented in my thread about this, and I was intrigued to learn PBS tells the UK production company how long the episode can be for their slot, and it's cut on the UK side.

I think the tv stations should just deal with the longer episodes.
