Superpowers, supernatural, super tech, all introduced into world previously unfamiliar with such things. Power implies responsibility for how it’s used. With the background knowledge that you and I have from events that occurred at home, I can understand your hesitation. Decisions like this shouldn't be made lightly. There is, however, a point to what some others have said so far -- Lachesis bringing us here at all means that this world is already unstable and irreversibly altered by our mere presence here.
[She comes from a culture where you're raised to put the ultimate greater good above all else, and she knows that Mordin knows that.]
Lachesis itself is in some ways a technological advancement that has started already to change the economy and culture, even the politics of this world. If someone has started it, I don't think that it was you, Professor.

Hello, Tali. Good to see you adapting to human form more. Regarding Lachesis- undeniable cultural, political, and economic impact of her actions. Often negative. History of this place shows tendency towards insecurity, violence, even war. Process impossible to reverse at this point. Still, don't want to add to it.
[It's so hard to predict for sure what decisions might lead to. He misses all those fancy STG simulations that could tell him 'yes re-sterilizing the Krogan is definitely the right call.' On the other hand, that didn't work out all that great, did it?]
In your opinion- would mass production and distribution of medi-gel in this world help limit harmful effects of Lachesis' actions, or add to them?

[A bright purple ball that Mordin might recognize as her combat drone drifts into the video and Tali bats it away, mildly annoyed.]
Apparently I have also acquired the ability to generate a combat drone significantly more powerful than the ones generated by the omni-tool ... without the aid of the omni-tool.
[When in doubt, distract Mordin from the current extremely difficult moral conundrum with something cool.]

New combat drone? Very intriguing. Lachesis gave me own ability to generate future tech- medi-gel, to be specific. Possible trend in powers.
More powerful- different drone, then? Not Chikkita vas Paus?

It's my experience that although people are often eager to use new technologies that can help them, they are also incredibly skeptical. Small-scale usage of the medi-gel doesn't seem like a terrible idea ... and does it cure the majority of illnesses? Is it permanent? I'd be happy to discuss some of the medical advances that the Wizarding world has over this place as well, if you are curious -- or concerned about the potential ramifications of them.

Not illnesses, just injuries. Works instantly to promote healing, but intended as an emergency field measure. Not unlimited in application.
Still, very useful. Have already used it in this world, for treating injured child. Strange. Had three packs when I arrived here, have three packs now. Suspect new Porter power. Automatic supply replenishment. Very exciting.
Would be grateful to learn how advances were integrated in your own world. Any precedent for dealing with side-effects will be helpful in understanding current situation.

I would imagine that long-term studies would've had to be done on the after-effects of the medi-gel in order for it to be deemed safe in your world, yes? If the Porter has given you that power, then it seems that it's trying to push you to use the medi-gel -- particularly if it's a fairly quick regeneration process.
On the contrary, most Wizarding hospitals existed almost completely independently of the technologically-driven Muggle ones. I would suspect that conventional medical science might work on injuries that magic might not help and vice versa, however. The wizarding world is a bit sticky when it comes to bringing in technological advances -- for example, most wizards don't use the telephone despite its apparent convenience because floo-networking and owl-post can be used instead.
