Details are still coming in about the D.C. incident, but they tend to be vague, apart from the success of dealing with the nuclear threat.

I admit I wouldn't be able to bring in too much detail outside of myself. Things were pretty hectic and rushed.

I was able to get a lift down to D.C. and clear the path for folks able to diffuse it. To be honest, I'd intended to grab hold of it and chuck it before detonating, but I was a little caught up. Thankfully, we had some clever help on hand to help out.

It's pleasing to hear there were a number of individuals reporting to the location that could handle the bomb. Overall it was a rather disorganized situation, but the end result dismisses the fact, in this case.

It's a lesson to be learned, for sure. Heaven forbid something that awful happens again, but if it does, I think experience will speak for itself, and we'll have ourself a more ready and organized response.
