It's my impression (but don't quote me on this) that they have living quarters near their offices/classrooms. McGonagall, at least, seems to live near Gryffindor tower, since she seems to show up there quickly in a late-night emergency.
All things Snape and Potions seem to be in the Dungeons, which I'm guessing is several floors below any of the towers. I think there's a bit on the Lexicon discussing the layout of Hogwarts and which rooms are on which floors.
Hopefully not too late for you, but I've just been re-reading OotP and notice that when Trelawney is kicked out of the tower it's definitely implied that she lives there as well as having her classroom there - Umbridge protests that the quarters will be needed for a replacement teacher, but Dumbledore appoints Firenze - who (obviously) cannot use the tower room.
So yes, the classrooms are essentially part of the teacher's own quarters.
