Busy day!

May 29, 2009 23:15

Today was quite busy for me. It started by going to the animal shelter again, this time I was allowed to clean one section all on my own. Part of me thinks that was because the management wasn't there and the other girls didn't think I could mess up too much. ;) So I did a whole section on my own (not packed to its full capacity though so only ( Read more... )

What the heck... ?!?!???? swingfox May 31 2009, 07:30:55 UTC
we were glad to hear that mother and daughter are doing fine

Great!! What about the father??? No words for him???? It's always "mother and daughter are doing fine". The father has to go through the whole 9 months of hormones acting up. Did I mention the cravings??

Woman: "I want chocolate ... now!!"
Man: "Yes dear, tomorrow morning first thing... it's 2am"
Woman: "I said now, right??"
Man: *sigh* ... *gets up and goes downstairs, not finding any chocolate*
Man: "We're out of chocolate, dear"
Woman: "Sooo?? I want chocolate"
Man: *sighs*
Woman: *moans the rest of the night in annoyance*

.... So... is the father ok???

/end rant

*ROFLMAO*

As far as I know, she was not your typical pregnant stereotype, so yes, the father is all right! ;)

Actually, he is not... He's still a bit in shock of it all and it still has to sink in. They've been having lots of visitors too and feel very tired, but I am sure once they get into the rhythm of things, they'll all be fine. :)

But yeah, until you guys get to go through all the pain of pregnancy and birth, you will never be included in the phrase "mother and son/daughter are doing fine", deal with it! ;)

Awwww shame you already bought it without a guitar. I would've liked to share the buy and buy the guitar from you. My guitar's broken. :( I don't know how, but strumming down doesn't work any more (I can only strum upwards which is really annoying). It's so unfair; I hardly played the game and I've been so careful with the guitar. Grrr. I guess I have to find a place where they sell the Xbox guitars solely. :/ Any idea?

You're so sporty, lol! I wanted to go running today but the weather's too nice and I feel lazy too.

Awww, had I known! :( I have seen some guitar cases at the store that you can buy separate from any game, but I am not sure if they only work with the Wii, I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I see them!

Thanks! :)
Yeah, it really sucks. :/ I guess I'll end up having to buy Guitar Hero 2 or 3 to get a new guitar. :P (I'm not really into Metallica and metal and stuff...)

There's also Guitar Hero Aerosmith, dunno if that's more your cup of tea. It also includes a guitar :)

Jeroen tweaked ours so that we can activate the star power using a pedal rather than tilting the guitar upwards ;D

I know! I'm really happy that they had some openings there! I kept checking the site but they never needed people to work at the shelter itself (more like collectanten and such but I am not into that, too shy to ask for money ;) ) so once I saw they had an opening there, I had to ask.

I feel very accomplished every time I go there (a feeling I've been missing in my daily job for a while now)

Accomplishment is a good feeling! :) Glad you find it in your volunteering "job", and I'm sure the little animalsies are very happy with you! :D
