OKAY there has been some discussion about what makes a heart game in sabraather and what isn't, but this post is essentially the CFUD take on it, which has been done before-- basically, we're planning a subconscious mind dive where you GET IN TOO DEEP OH GOD. Info under the cut!

YEAH I. IT'S HARD TO UNDERSTAND WITHOUT SEEING IT IN ACTION, I ADMIT. But maybe if we had people who were familiar with running heart games do like... a trial run for camp so people can see how it is done, that'd be neat?

This is mainly a post for interest!!!! Anyway!! I'd just really like it if we could make it a cfud thing too, because it's a lot of fun.

Let me CLARIFY that I'm not really advocating the wholesale importing of heart games into CFUD as they are in other games (and I don't think anyone else is either), but that an event like this has already in fact taken place in CFUD and I really enjoyed it and would like to see it happen again in a more planned and organized way so I can do more with it!

I don't think there's any reason this can't be a special CFUD-only thing that just happens to involve going into people's hearts/souls/whatever as opposed to "WE'RE TAKING THIS FROM ANOTHER GAME" especially since the instance of this in CFUD predates Aather considerably and idek about Sabra. :|a

When was the CFUD event? The Sabra one was... prior to October 2009. I'm not sure how much earlier than that though because it was back on inksome, which is gone now.

Edit: the second Sabra heartgame was October 4, 2009, but I either hadn't apped yet or otherwise didn't play in the first, because I'm not finding a mention of it in my character notes.

Uh, looks like Devit's thing was almost exactly a year ago, so not predating Sabra, but Ari also tells me she did something similar here with Almaz before they came up in Sabra, so! I think it's just like, A TROPE in a sense that can span many games and be a fun and differing event in each of them without it being co-opting, ha ha.
