Ikkaku totally loves himself. AM JUST THE MOST AWESOME BEASTLY THING EVER LOVE ME has no idea why anyone WOULDN'T think he's so awesome and dashing and freakin' glorious. Does consider himself an honest man, and an honorable man, but not necessarily a GOOD man--maybe kinda depraved and amoral, but he loves his own crazy. Egotistical hedonist FTW.
Watanuki...doesn't...hate himself. He considers himself a threat to other people, and that's bad, but he doesn't think HE'S bad. As a matter of fact he knows he's a nice, good guy. He likes himself, but doesn't love himself and has no sense of self-worth.

Gai thinks Gai is amazing. He is God's gift to basically everything but his enemies, and even they are pretty lucky to be taken out by someone half so fucking amazing as Gai. He is handsome, kind, generous, a fine ninja, a man with an excellent fashion sense and just plain badass. Anyone who does not understand this, or will not admit it is either simply playing coy (like Anko~~~) or is a fool and not really worth his time. He is always right in any circumstances, and in the rare, rare event that he was not right, it was a situation in which no one would have been right.
Adell thinks he is pretty swell, but not uh. Quite to Gai's level. He was raised to be the hero of the game, and because of the curse he also grew up being the only "good" person he ever met. So he thinks he's a good person and made a good hero, but he's not nearly as egotistical as Gai. He thinks pretty highly as himself as The Hero of The Game, but I think some part of ihm is also aware of what a gigantic dork he is.
Slight clarification - Violet does not feel guilt for what she did. There was no viable alterative for it. Rather, she's haunted by the fact that someone else got blamed for doing it. She obviously doesn't feel guilty enough to 'fess up though, because after twenty years Daddy still thinks the other did it and nobody else suspects anything either. So um. Violet probably makes pancakes of guilt with Sophie. I don't know what kind of person that makes her, other than a vaguely dishonest one, except that she just... isn't that. She's Violet.
Chisame hates herself! This is canon. :Dd Although I actually don't think she hates herself as much as SHE thinks she does. Basically Chisame has a lot of issues. In canon AND camp, she's sort of coming to terms with the fact that while she is firm in her beliefs about what makes her happy and they're served her well in the past, her priorities are also fairly shallow. And she doesn't WANT to have a problem with this and never has before, but associating with Negi et al is causing a problem, yes. She's being forced to take part in a lot of things she hates, and she's doing it specifically to PRESERVE her status quo, and then she's not hating them as much as she wants to and she also feels herself getting sucked in further and further. And gah. It's kinda fun guys ;; BUT I HATE ITTT

There are two ways to write Tomo: either all of her I AM SO FUCKING GREAT stuff is a big act to get attention and cover up her hidden insecurities, or it's genuine. I play the latter, mostly because the former is almost omnipresent in AzuDai badfic and I have a kneejerk AUGH reaction to it. XD I also think it makes her more interesting; more shallow, yes, but at the same time "I am overcompensating because I hate myself" characters are a dime a dozen, and in my experience "I really do think I'm freakin' awesome" characters are pretty rare

Easy peasy--Greed loves himself. XD He has absolutely no issues with what he is. He KNOWS what he is and there's no point in fretting about it, because he's not capable of change, and he's damn strong and sexy and unf. Greed would do himself!
He has JUST ENOUGH care for what others think of him that he gets vaguely annoyed when not everyone likes him, or when Ed calls him greasy or whatever. But it doesn't bother him in a true sense. They're only humans, and what matters is that Greed is Greed and he's good at being Greed.
Yuuma ♥ Yuuma, too. XD She's confident in her skills and looks and personality--I wouldn't say her ego is exactly INFLATED like Tomo's is, but it's very strong. Yuuma has no issues with herself or what she does! :Dd
Ron thinks he's pretty cool! Doesn't understand why people don't all like him, but hey, can't win them all, right? Secretly, he sometimes wishes that people would, you know, remember his name and stuff, but he's good with being KP's sidekick because he knows that he's awesome! He doesn't quite buy the "She can't do it without me" stuff, but is glad that she thinks that, and it helps out his self-esteem. Right now, he's glad that he's Ron Stoppable, and that he's as cool and nice and good at making nacos as he is!
