A mild annoyance, really
It's a small thing to be annoyed at, really, but I don't see what's wrong with a November release date: Half-Blood Prince release moved to July 17, 2009. It's Harry Potter; I can't see how they're worried about ticket sales.
I suppose this should allow them to improve the film somehow (more refined effects, or longer scenes, or whatever; I'm not ( Read more... ) -

Quick update
The surgery went very well, apparently. My jaw is still sore and the bleeding hasn't completely stopped yet, but I didn't pass out and I just feel a little weak now. My lower lip is still somewhat numb, though it's a hell of a lot better when I first woke up. I could barely move my mouth, let alone speak.

I just want to preface this by saying there's no pictures. I had brought my camera and thought it'd be cool if I could take a picture or two, but the rules clearly stated that no cell phones, cameras, etc. were allowed and I didn't particularly want to get into trouble. :(

Perfume
Finished Perfume. That was, to be blunt, bizarre, and disturbing at the end. :\ I'm not sure I liked it.
Also watched the fifteen-minute featurette that was included as a special feature and I'm not sure if I agree with what the director and such was saying. They were saying that the story relates to modern culture and celebrity culture, how people ( Read more... ) -
