These sides/spoilers/everything is SO CONFLICTING with previous spoilers. Can we just slow down because I cannot seem to keep track of everything.

I don't think Callie would be coming back after three episodes gone if they supposedly both leave in 7x07. Maybe Callie takes a work leave but doesn't necessarily leave Seattle. I don't think Sara will be missing any episodes.

I was reading the boards over at TWoP and someone said 706 has been uploaded to ABC MediaNet for review. We may get answers to our questions very soon then... Or at least some spoilers that are a bit more specific than "bombshell" and "cooling off". :)

Others have mentioned that the only couple interaction in this ep is C/A which makes the comment about overwrought romances a bit troubling.

And a sweet patient dies out of the blue in a plot twist?!?! "Torment" and "gimmicks"?!?!

I don't think the Sarah side has anything to do with them because Arizona isn't in the episode and Callie is at the hospital for the hip replacement.

Nice theories about a family crisis! But we've already had a spoiler about their careers going in different directions. Would they really have both a professional AND personal crisis at the same time (unless the career one is for later in the season...but then why would they spoil it so soon?)?

I think something good happens for Arizona, which is why she looks so happy in the kitchen. Something bad happens for Callie's career, which is why she's sad, filling out a form and took a leave of absence. Callie sounds very defensive when the woman questions why she can do the surgery so soon, which she would be if something bad had happened to her career.

Then there's Jessica saying their relationship would cool off, but if they had a happy goodbye/go away together...Well, that's not cold.

I agree with mostly everything you said, except I don't think anything happens with Callie's career. I think if anything she puts her career on hold for Arizona. In the 706 stills, she's at the bar, smiling with the guys, which I'd assume is near the end. Then maybe soon after that there's the C/A scene where we find out what the "bombshell" is.

Exactly, Callie is TOO happy. When do they ever let her stay happy? She's in the same position she was in when she was married, trying for a baby and chief resident. Things are going great in her love life and her career what with the awesome surgery. It has to crash and burn. Arizona leaves and Callie is suspended/forced to take a leave?

I could see them having her mope around the house and maybe getting that haircut i(f that's her) for one episode and then she's back at work in 7.10.

That's what I was thinking. I feel like the haircut for 7x08 only makes sense for Callie at this point. Whoever it is talks about breakups. I highly doubt a male would go around talking about that stuff, especially to a hairdresser. Meredith is happy with Derek, Cristina has Owen, and doesn't seem like the type to talk about that stuff either. Then Lexie, April, Bailey, and Teddy all seem to be single. Unless one of them ends up with a guy in the next 3 episodes, and breaks up really quickly.
