Finally, I'm back home.

Finally.

Right after Mark and I got back from Rochester, I boarded a plane for California. We decided to just expedite the process and make it quicker than what it was. If I would have waited any longer, the window of visit time would've had to have been extended a bit. And I'm definitely not up for extending the visit time

It's great to hear that your dad is now standing up for you. It's a big turnaround from where you were just a couple months ago--progress that usually isn't made that fast.

It still surprises me, actually. I think my dad's girlfriend had some saying behind it all, but I'm not complaining. I'm with you, I've never heard of someone making that kind of progress that fast. I dunno what's changed everything, but I'm glad it's back to, at least, the "middle ground" stuff that it was before it all exploded.
