I have spent most of this month hiding from people. Canadians are TOO FRIENDLY.

Nanowrimo is going horribly. Having a week of MIDTERMS in the middle of November an assignment in the last quarter and a term paper for the first days of December, do not an ample writing schedule make. I am doing better than last time though! I didn't even break 10,000 ( Read more... )

Hellooo, internet! I am not supposed to be on you, I am supposed to be packing. Then, again, I'm eating breakfast at half one in the afternoon (no, it is not lunch), so I may be preemtively running on Calgary Time and I have 7 hours before I need to catch a bus, not one.

It is now 24 34 hours since I wrote that paragraph. I am the best at this.

First things first. Anyone going to Slutwalk tomorrow? I note issues with the movement, but I agree with the underlying sentiment and it would give me an excuse to visit London.

 29 - What scents bring back vivid memories for you?

Mothballs, without fail, make me think of Hong Kong.
I used to get lots of clothes as gifts/because they were cheap and they always smelt of mothballs. As a consequence, I quite like the smell.
