I have spent most of this month hiding from people. Canadians are TOO FRIENDLY.
Nanowrimo is going horribly. Having a week of MIDTERMS in the middle of November an assignment in the last quarter and a term paper for the first days of December, do not an ample writing schedule make. I am doing better than last time though! I didn't even break 10,000 words last year, so wooooo!
It is COLD. It was -20C~ yesterday, not including windchill. I have yet to break out the super-warm-Canadian-Winter coat, but I may be forced to do so soon. I will soon have to brave that cold to go get groceries (4 days without black tea because I had no milk is more than too long), but for now I am warm and snuggly and I have things to write.
This is early, but Nori did hers first & I am so very far away this year, so it is time for Happy Mid-December Cards!
So! Who would like a card and what would you like in it? Would you like it dipped in snow/grass taped to it/stained with tea/the usual jazz? and GIFTS! Who would like a (Canadian) gift? Maple candies are delish.
Drop your address in a comment (they're screened) if I haven't got it, or leave an appropriate keysmash! Don't think twice about asking for something*; I love all of you and I love sending mail and I will be sending stuff to absolute strangers anyway. (Although, if you don't have an LJ/are anonymous, leave your name/internet handle so I know who you arrre)
*unless it is over a foot2 and weighs more than a pound. Post is expensive, y'all.
