Damn did I enjoy my first weekend in many, many months that wasn't dictated by anyone or any obligations. Not that I haven't had a blast on those weekends, it's just this one I left open and I did want I wanted, or didn't ( Read more... )

Whomever took the shots of you did a nice job (of course the subject helped ...)

I never think of new bars opening in either the Quarter or the Marigny; it seems like the roster has been the same for decades. I'll look forward to seeing this one & getting re-acquainted w/Lafitte's, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Burt is quite capable with a camera also. The pics from the night before that had me and the dog in them were taken by him.

New bars are constantly opening and closing down there. The main ones that have been around for years are still there, but the others rotate quite often. I'll take you around on a tour of each and every bar. :)
