I like the name, though I harbor concerns that it sounds a little like "wafer-ers" with the appropriate unleavened associations. Asside from that, maybe something like a movie tagline "Wayfarers: We all walk our own path through life; Maybe it's time to see where yours leads." or something along those lines. That's what sounds catchiest to me in the modern world. Very "In a world where people were looking for answers to life's questions in an open forum..." deep boomy voice.
Please tweek away.

I am sorry if I got the punctuation wrong in the above line, as well. It's been a while since I had to worry about that stuff much.

OK, but doesn't spur me that much.

"Open Book" might be an idea for a College-y name...

i like a tag line that would be something like "Finding the right questions" - very pomo.

you could also obviously jive on the traveling theme, with things like "Rules for the Road" or "Journeys" or "The Spiritual Path". the tagline could be inviting - "Seekers welcome - come as you are, find who you are meant to be", or that kind of thing, maybe with less of an implication that the function of the group is to provide answers.

on another topic, here is a link

to my blog post summing up my six candidacy statements. i thought you might be interested (if you're not, i'll never know...). i'm not going to post them on LJ because i'm not sure how much interest there would be. or maybe i will, come to think of it. i haven't done a serious post in a long, long time...

anyway
