Yeah, I found the strike quite enlightening as well - spending the day away from it made me sit back and think about why I was there, what I liked about it, and how much it did or didn't mean to me. I actually missed it less than I expected, so decided to self-discpline myself and left it alone for the remainder of the weekend
( ... )
Like you, it's mostly my f-list and the fact that discussions are so nicely supported here that makes me stay for the moment. I'll decide later, when I have more time and a better brain to deal with stuff... A blog on your site with RSS feed sounds good - when you're done, I'd be interested in hearing how you did it. Would it be alright if I nagged you then? *^_^*
And you'd be very welcome to come over and cook curry! ;) It's the whole "having to go shopping, cooking and washing up" thing that puts me off food a bit right now. I could have done the studying at home, with mum doing the cooking - but temptations and distractions are too close when I'm home. It wouldn't have worked... So I have to somehow manage. At least I still manage to have a varied diet with lots of fruit, veggies and not too much chocolate, which actually makes me proud! ;)
Thanks for the hugs, they're appreciated! *hugs right back*

You're welcome to try and nag me, but there's no cunning secret - I just downloaded and installed Thingamablog and used that to set me up a blog (or two, as the case may be). It took a few abortive attempts to make everything upload and update, and there's no comments option (though I'm sure clever folks could add one). But it has an inbuilt RSS and lets me update from my desktop. So nothing fancy or clever, I'm afraid!
Thank you! :) That does indeed look interesting, and there are links to some add-ons that would allow comments somehow. I might have to look into that more closely once I get my brain back... :) It might not be particularly clever or fancy, but since I wouldn't even know how to search Google for something like that, you're still the smart one having made that discovery! :) *hugs*
Thanks, sweetie! I'll still be around somewhere, even if I have no idea where life will lead me after the exam... ;) But - you don't get rid of me that easily! *hugs*
