For a long time now I've been thinking about what moves and motivates me when I draw. I'm inspired by a lot of things, but when I start to work on those ideas, other things become important. I'm hard pressed for time at work, so all I can presently say is AWWW, but it's the most delighted Gillington AWWW in history. You've just framed in wonderful words my own mindset for Gillington ficcing. More will follow ASAP and in the meantime I will listen to the songs and attempt to learn some German^^.

Ach, wie suess! Ich liebe diese Lieder.

Seriously, (I'm going to stop the German. I'm not very good at it!) it seems that we have a common thread with our Gillington. I don't have a particular song I listen to, but these do illustrate some of what I like to think is behind the Gillington relationship.

Have fun with your family!

Yes, I think that's what attracted me in the Gillington pairing - was the sense of shared ideals and commitments; of working together and fighting together and depending on each other for life and death. Knowing that there's one person there with whom you're safe, someone you can trust completely.

It's a good vibe :) Probably a little too domestic for a great deal of fire and sparks, but something you could imagine strengthening both characters and enabling them to do more than either would have done alone. A life-enhancing love :)

I'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit better! Have a lovely weekend with your folks :)
