Today has been unreservedly lazy. My back feels as if it's made of live scorpions after yesterday's travel marathon, and so -- since the world is closed today for somebody's birthday -- I've spent the day sitting around, reading vast numbers of comic books and editing the material I wrote on the plane, which shows the usual strong lines cluttered
