There was also a keychain with Spanish lesbians. I knew I was forgetting something! Lizards and mermaids and lesbians. I feel incredibly well-understood.

It is all right for you to be three, because you sent me a construction paper stocking. Also, you should call tonight, because tomorrow, I will be gone. Just like the singer in 'Caledonia'. (And I'll probably sing it at the airport, because that is the sort of thing I do.)

If you miss me you will miss me, although I'll note that it's three hours earlier here (and I won't be going to bed until two o'clock at the very earliest), so odds are you can at least call to say good-bye without fear of waking me.
