Every time I see "Alintangy" in the lyrics, I want to say Olentangy, which is the name of one of two rivers that run through Columbus, Ohio. (The other is the Scioto.)

Alintangy ~= Olentangy ~= Old 'n Dingy

Just another river running through a university campus that's said to be too dirty to swim in. (Or is that just a rumor to frustrate the college students?)

Actually, Columbus claims that it sits at the confluence of three rivers -- the third one, while named "Alum Creek," is as wide on the map as the "real" rivers.
