You may or may not be aware, but Alec Adams -- part of Tricky Pixie, heir to the musical legacy of Heather Alexander -- is currently in danger of losing his ranch. This would be sad. Luckily, Alex has a lot of friends and fans. This is very happy. Some of those friends and fans are incredible artists in their own right, who are trying to help

And Alex is also an incredible musician as well as being an all-around nice guy. I met him at Marcon and had I not closed on my condo today I'd be ordering STACKS of his CDs.

I have a CD of his pre-transition work (actually I have three), and it's signed (met the woman he once was at RingCon and managed to keep my self-possession long enough to ask for an autograph). It's one of my most treasured possessions.
