I *LOVE* it! I had similar thoughts yesterday - Seattle is faring no better with these new asshats to the public buses *sigh*

For that matter, what the heck is wrong with our stupid pant transit director. How could he even *think* of cutting services at a time like this? (OTOH, that may have been a ploy... but subtle, he ain't.)

I'm kinda thinking I may want to spend a bit extra in rent and have myself a walking commute....

That arty never did say where those "22 new buses" are being used.... *sigh*

No, because then they will miss their stop and wind up being annoying on public transit even longer.

The people who have started riding since gas prices skyrocketed ARE special little snowflakes, aren't they? You should have heard them when caltrain was massively delayed last friday and half of them had to ride the bus home.

Sadly, it promises to get worse. Maybe there will at least be more funding so they can run more trains.

That is my hope. I seriously would ride public transit more if it were at all feasable, but the bus only runs (3/4 of a mile away) past my house every 2 hours.
