Random footnotes on a relative Monday morning.

Jan 02, 2007 08:14

Since this is my first day back at work following quite a few lovely, lovely days off, it's a relative Monday -- a day that isn't really a Monday, but sure as heck feels like one. I'll have some deeper, more insightful things to say later on, as well as some fluffy, pointless ones (still being me, after all), but first, here are some random ( Read more... )

I'm genuinely surprised that the pre-orders haven't already closed!

And slightly rueful at having gotten up at 8am GMT on New Year's Day to drunkenly/hungoverly place mine, now knowing I could have waited and had a bit more sleep ;)

I think if they'd already closed, I'd be in hospital for shock! I'm sorry you lost sleep to get yours in -- now that's dedication!

Honestly, one of my reasons for staying up until 3:00 a.m. yesterday morning was because I thought you just might fill all 250 pre-orders by the time I woke up. So the fact that you currently have 76 is no surprise to me. You have a *lot* of fans, y'know?

I do, it's just...still a little surprising. I was going by the PLDG orders as my bellweather, and we're substantially sped-up from there.

I so understand "relative Monday", by this time I'm completely out of program having had too many "relative Saturdays" in a row.

I'm glad the pre-orders are going well, but also glad that they didn't all go in the 36 hours or so until I was able to order *g*...

So today is a Monday Tuesday. These are better than Monday Mondays, ulp Monday Fridays. Monday isn't really a day so much as a kind of day, if you get my drift.

Personally I like Friday Fridays, when I'm working, these are the ultimate work days, nothing bad ever happens on a Friday friday, things fall into place, people who drive you nuts are sick and at home, or there's to much snow and you got to work, but none of the bus kids did. I'm not sure what a Friday Friday would be like in an office Situation, but I bet they are fun.

Yes I am crazy.

It seems that my PayPal information disagrees with my actual information that I put in the order form. The actual information I put in the order form is the correct one, and the difference is the apartment number.
