My journal has been consumed by silence lately. This is not because I've been hit by a bus or eaten by llamas or anything else silly like that; no, it's just that for the last several days, I've had Nokomis, Amy, Batya, and Merav all dog-piling into my daily life, and that sort of shakes things up, from a perspective of 'doing silly little things ( Read more... )

If you weren't eaten by llamas, it certainly wasn't for lack of trying on the llamas' part. Vicious little buggers, those llamas.

I miss my Nok! But YAY! Jerry-fic-WITH-LEO! :) I could now die gleefully.

I've also missed my Seanan blurbs, but was gone for several days for the holiday so would not have gotten to enjoy them until today anyway.

Folks who've been enjoying 'Making Arrangements' may want to note that I actually updated Jerry's LJ, over at watchermaid, for the holiday.

Well, THAT ate my brain for a couple of days.

Although there's a good argument to be made that I wasn't using it for anything of significance anyway.

Fascinating reading, when there's so much I don't get. I did find out, through chat with a friend, that part of what I didn't get is from the very end of Buffy - which has re-ignited the determination to get through the DVDs of the series, really now. We got stuck partway through 4th season - and I've been falling down of exhaustion most nights before the kids are in bed, which kinda knocks out my watching time.

And of course, Healy Mice, yay! I can just see them doing that lecture. Do they do travelling speaking engagements, do you suppose? I want to import them for my kids. A bit younger than 17, though, I think.

and I still feel like roughly half my body has been replaced with cookie doughContinuing the theme of "Seanan is good enough to eat ( ... )
